Trauma Yoga Groups
Spark All Wellness offers trauma-informed yoga therapy groups led by certified mental health clinicians and registered yoga instructors certified through Transcending Trauma Through Yoga. Our yoga therapy group curriculum helps individuals explore and deepen their connection to their bodies in a safe and non-judgmental space. Additionally, participants engage in meditation, breathwork, yoga, and other activities to reconnect with themselves, feel empowered, and foster resilience.

Spark Of Resilience:
Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy
Spark of Resilience is a 6-week trauma-informed yoga therapy group for adults healing from trauma. Led by a certified mental health clinician and yoga instructor, this closed group blends gentle yoga, mindfulness, somatic practices, and evidence-based interventions to support emotional regulation, inner strength, and resilience. Each session offers a safe, nurturing space to reconnect with your body, calm your nervous system, and begin to heal from within.

Mindful Mama & Me
Yoga Therapy Group
This vibrant and engaging yoga series is designed for mothers and their children under 5 years old. The series focuses on fun, play, and adventure, transforming traditional yoga sessions into imaginative moments of connection. Each group includes playful poses, interactive activities, singing, and imaginative storytelling, creating an enjoyable yoga experience for both mothers and children.

Child Yoga Therapy Group
This is a closed 6-week yoga therapy group designed for children ages 6-12 to improve emotional regulation and enhance their coping skills. The program blends play therapy techniques with gentle yoga movements. It’s guided by a certified mental health clinician and yoga instructor to support kids to overcome challenges and foster resilience.
Meet Our Yoga Team
Jessica Lizardo, LCSW, RYT
Jessica discovered trauma-informed yoga at UC Irvine in 2013. Initially, she participated in the trauma-informed Yoga as Healing programs directed by Zabie Yamasaki, founder of Transcending Trauma Through Yoga. As she realized the benefits she gained from this healing program, she was inspired to stay connected and give back. Jessica became the program coordinator for Zabie’s Yoga as Healing programs between 2014 and 2016 and later supported Zabie as coordinator for her trauma-informed teacher training at Transcending Trauma Through Yoga. Certified in 2015, Jessica has since launched and facilitated trauma yoga programs at USC, UC Irvine, and Rape Trauma Services in Burlingame. Currently, she leads trauma-informed yoga groups at the William Jenkins Health Center in Richmond, CA, and through Spark All Wellness.
Christine Mark-Griffin, LCSW, RYT
Christine discovered yoga at 18 and eventually integrated it into her clinical practice after experiencing its transformative impact on her own mental health. She became certified as a trauma-informed yoga therapist in 2018 and currently serves as a lead trainder at Transcending Trauma Through Yoga . Christine is passionate about making trauma-informed yoga accessible across the lifespan. She works with children in schools, university students, and adults experiencing trauma, and leads mindfulness and yoga groups in clinical settings. She also provides trauma-informed yoga workshops for agencies, nonprofits, and corporate organizations. As a renowned EMDR therapist and trainer, she is recognized for her innovative integration of yoga practices with EMDR therapy.
